one person's trash is another person's treasures

all this week my mom and i have been throwing away half of our belongings considering half of it is pretty much useless to anyone in my house.

however, i did manage to find a few things that pretty much have made my life.

who knew my mom had a random box full of bows?

some are pins,others are bowties, a some are actually ment to go on your hair.

and also, who knew my dad was such a fan of awesome sunglasses ( can you say RayBans?)

i also found a bunch of random floral bandanas, but i dont have pictures cuz i threw them in the wash, cuz tey were all dusty and gross.

well that's that.

summer almost over, i start college on monday.

how joyful...!

ALMA fashion

last night the ALMA awards (American Latino Media Arts Award) were held.

now if i wasnt latina, i probably wouldnt care about these, and even if i am i have to admit i never really do watch them.
but i was curious and wanted to know how many latinos were actually in Hollywood.

ok,back to the point.

this girl's dress really caught my eye:

this is Selena Gomez, some Disney Channel girl who seems to be feuding with the annoyance that is Miley Cyrus.

well, whoever her ennemies are, i dont really care, all i have to say is : well played girl!
i simply adore the flowy material and the grecian-ish design,even though i dont usually like those kind of dresses.

this Marchesa dress is just amazing, and i congragulate her for her amazing choice.

home sweet home

well,im back in boring old Canada.
it seems so...well boring after the AMAZING trip i had.

seriously, best vacation ever.
and by vacation, i mean the last 3 days i was there.
i shall explain why.

1 month before leaving, i bought tickets to a Latino award show ( cuz im latin )
i was super excited i was gonna get to see my favorite artist live.
but of course, i expected to have really crappy seats.

ok, so we get to Miami and all and go the beach for like 10 days straight (which can get boring)
and then, one faithful day, the day before the show, i go shopping on Lincoln Road, which happens to be very famous among celebrities, something i totally didnt know.

well,while walking around, guess who i see?
one of the members from my all time favorite band. EVER.
that just made my life.

and then we met some other random latino singers.

the next day, the show, was amazing.
we had great seats and all of my favorites performed, and afterward,i got to meet some of them.

i will never forget this trip thats for sure.

i got home yesterday, and found my college info in the mail.
i start August 25th...scary.

AND apparently i have a free subscription to NYLON now?
yah, i dont know why.

all i know is, lately i have been on a lucky streak, and im enjoying every minute of it.

leavin', never to come back again.

i've been in Miami for 4 days.

i got sunburnt on the second.

how pleasant is that?

let's just hope it heals fast.

well today i visited the Aventura Mall.

it's hugeee and was surprised to see they had an UB inside the mall.

usually the ones i have been to are on boardwalks or streets.

anyway, i bought some stuff, mostly from the guys section :D

they always seem to get the better stuff...

PS. the title of this post is in honour of the Jesse McCartney song,that ive heard about 10000000 times since i got here.

it seems to be pretty popular here in the south...

that, and a gray belt at UB, a purple summery dress and beige cardigab at GAP and some gray sparkly sneakers, all of which i couldnt find any pictures,but if i do,ill edit the post and put them up.
